The monthly pension amount you receive from NPS hinges on multiple elements, including the asset categories you invested in, investment duration, and contribution size. Use the calculator to figure it out.
NPS offers tax benefits up to Rs.2,00,000 annually per person. By investing this sum, you can claim Rs.1,50,000 deduction under Section 80C and an extra Rs.50,000 under Section 80CCD(1B). While the NPS yearly contribution cap lacks an upper limit, amounts surpassing it won't qualify for tax deductions.
You can withdraw 25% of your NPS contributions after three years for reasons like education, marriage, or illness. After five years, you can withdraw up to 20% as a lump sum, while 80% must be used for a pension plan. If your corpus is under Rs.2.5 lakh, it's fully given as a lump sum.
Just fill in your current age and retirement age, monthly investment, the interest rate you expect, and how much you plan to invest in annuity and expected interest rate for it. The calculator will provide you with all the details.
